When we accept Jesus into our lives we are adopted into the family of God. We become his son with all the advantages of that inheritance. We get the advantage of a special relationship with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit and the promise of eternal life with him.
 
We also have the privilege of being able to ask God for help whenever we need it and like a good father He will answer our prayers if they are in line with His will.
 
With this relationship comes some responsibilities on our part. We are to read and study the bible and live a life that is pure and a reflection of God.
 
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. Romans 8: 14
